📋 Ingredients
Serves 2
Nori seaweed: 2 leaves
Sushi rice: 1 cup
Sriracha: 2 tablespoons
Avocado: 1 unit, diced
Tomato: 1 unit, diced
Sesame seeds: 2 tablespoons
Optional: 1 tbsp sugar, salt, 1/4 cup rice vinegar or water with seasoning
👨🍳 Instructions
Cook the riceRinse the sushi rice thoroughly and cook it with 1¼ cups water, a pinch of salt, and 1 tablespoon sugar. Once cooked, stir in rice vinegar (or a bit more seasoned water) and let cool.
Prepare the fillingIn a bowl, combine diced avocado, tomato, and optional pickle slices or capers. Add a spoonful of sriracha and mix gently.
Assemble the sushiLay out a sheet of baking paper or use a sushi mat. Place a nori sheet on top and spread a thin layer of cooled rice evenly.
Add the fillingSpoon a strip of the filling across the center of the rice. Roll the sushi tightly using the mat or paper to guide you.
Slice and serveCut into 2 cm slices with a sharp knife. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with soy sauce for dipping.
