🧾 Ingredients
Tofu: 7 oz / 200 gr.
Chickpea flour: 2 tablespoons
Cornstarch: 1 teaspoon
Nori seaweed: 2 units
Lemon: 1 unit
Rice: 1/2 cup
Flax oil: 1/2 oz / 10 ml
👨🍳 Instructions
In a bowl, combine chickpea flour, cornstarch, lemon juice, flax oil, mustard, a pinch of salt, and a bit of turmeric powder (optional).
Gradually add water while mixing until you achieve a creamy texture.
Cut the tofu into uniform sticks.
Cut the nori seaweed into strips that match the length and width of the tofu sticks.
Wrap each tofu stick with a strip of nori seaweed.
Dip each wrapped stick into the creamy chickpea mixture.
Roll the coated sticks in rice to cover them.
Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
