Tangerine Ice Cream is a refreshing citrusy delight that requires minimal effort and no added dairy. This frozen dessert brings out the bright, tangy flavour of tangerines and sweetens it just enough for a smooth and satisfying result. It’s a perfect option for hot days or when you’re in the mood for something light and fruity.
Kitchen Tools
Hand blender
Bowl
Ingredients
6 tangerines
2 tablespoons erythritol (or to taste)
Instructions
Prep the fruit: Peel the tangerines and separate them into individual wedges.
Freeze: Place the wedges in a freezer-safe container and freeze until solid (about 3–4 hours or overnight).
Soften before blending: Once frozen, place the wedges into a bowl and cover with a glass of water to soften slightly. Let sit for a few minutes.
Drain: Remove the water and discard it. This helps make blending easier.
Sweeten: Add the erythritol or preferred sweetener to the bowl.
Blend: Using a hand blender, blend the tangerines until smooth and creamy.
Serving Ideas
