🧾 Ingredients
Sunflower seeds: 1 cup
Plant-based milk: 1/2 cup
Apple cider vinegar: 1 teaspoon
Nutritional yeast: 2 tablespoons
Garlic: 1 clove
Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice: 2 tablespoons
👨🍳 Instructions
Soak the sunflower seeds in plenty of water for 4 hours.
Transfer the seeds to the blender, add the rest of the ingredients. Also add salt and your preferred spices—we recommend oregano.
Process very well until you get a homogeneous consistency.
Cook the preparation over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Once the mixture thickens, pour it into a greased container and let it rest at room temperature.
Refrigerate for a couple of hours and then unmold.
Add more spices on top, if you prefer.
