🧾 Ingredients

  • Sunflower seeds: 1 cup

  • Plant-based milk: 1/2 cup

  • Apple cider vinegar: 1 teaspoon

  • Nutritional yeast: 2 tablespoons

  • Garlic: 1 clove

  • Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon

  • Lemon juice: 2 tablespoons


👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Soak the sunflower seeds in plenty of water for 4 hours.

  2. Transfer the seeds to the blender, add the rest of the ingredients. Also add salt and your preferred spices—we recommend oregano.

  3. Process very well until you get a homogeneous consistency.

  4. Cook the preparation over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

  5. Once the mixture thickens, pour it into a greased container and let it rest at room temperature.

  6. Refrigerate for a couple of hours and then unmold.

  7. Add more spices on top, if you prefer.
