Cool, Crunchy, and Packed with Protein!

This icy snack is a satisfying blend of creamy cheese, nut butter, and protein powder with the nutty crunch of toasted almonds. It’s the perfect small treat to keep in your freezer for a refreshing boost any time of day.


Kitchen Tools

  • Hand blender

  • Frying pan

  • Freezer-safe bowl or mold


Ingredients

  • 20 g protein powder

  • 150 g / 5 oz fresh cheese (ricotta or cottage-style works great)

  • 15 g / 0.5 oz nut butter (e.g., almond or peanut)

  • 5 g almonds (whole or slivered)


Instructions

  1. Toast the almonds: Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add the almonds and toast for 2–3 minutes until lightly golden and fragrant. Remove from heat.

  2. Combine everything: Transfer the toasted almonds to a bowl. Add the fresh cheese, protein powder, and nut butter.

  3. Blend: Use a hand blender to process until smooth. If you prefer a chunkier texture, pulse instead of blending fully.

  4. Freeze: Transfer the mixture to a mold or small container and freeze for at least 3 hours until firm.

  5. Optional Garnish: Drizzle with chocolate sauce or a pinch of cinnamon before serving.


Storage

Keep frozen in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Let it sit for a few minutes at room temperature before serving for easier scooping.
