🛠 Kitchen Tools
Mixing bowl
Spoon or spatula
Air fryer
Pastry brush (optional)
Parchment paper or silicone air fryer liner
🧾 Ingredients
Makes 2 small bagels
Whole wheat flour: 100 g / 3.5 oz (approx. ¾ cup)
Vegan Greek yogurt: 100 ml / 3.5 fl oz (unsweetened)
Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
Optional: Garlic or onion powder for flavor
For topping: Extra yogurt (for brushing), sesame seeds
👨🍳 Instructions
Mix the doughIn a bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, vegan Greek yogurt, and baking powder. Stir with a spoon until fully incorporated. If desired, add a pinch of garlic powder or onion powder for extra flavor.
Shape the bagelsOnce the dough comes together into a kneadable texture, divide it into 2 equal portions. Shape each into a smooth ball, then poke a hole in the center and gently stretch it to form a bagel shape.
Add toppingsBrush the tops with a bit of extra yogurt to help them brown and act as a binder. Sprinkle sesame seeds (or poppy seeds, everything bagel mix, etc.) if desired.
Air fry to perfectionPreheat your air fryer to 180°C / 350°F. Place the bagels inside (on parchment or a liner) and cook for 10 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly crisp.
Cool and serveRemove from the air fryer and let cool at room temperature for a few minutes. Slice and enjoy with your favorite spread or filling!
