Craving something warm, soft, and delightfully cake-like—but don’t want to bake? This single-serve donut cake is the perfect solution.

Made with wholesome oat flour, nut butter, and an egg for protein-rich fluffiness, this recipe delivers all the cozy sweetness of a donut in just a few minutes. Perfect for quick breakfasts or dessert cravings!

Kitchen Tools

  • Microwave

  • Hand blender (or whisk)

Ingredients

  • 20 g oat flour (approx. 1 oz)

  • 10 g nut butter (approx. 2 tsp)

  • 1 organic egg

  • 1 g baking powder (approx. 1/4 tsp)

Instructions

  1. Mix the batter: In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients. Blend or whisk until you get a smooth, lump-free batter.

  2. Microwave the cake: Pour the batter into a microwave-safe mug or small bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute. If needed, add 10–15 seconds for extra firmness depending on your microwave.

  3. Cool and enjoy: Let it cool for a couple of minutes before eating. The texture will settle, becoming perfectly tender and moist.

Serving Ideas

  • Dust with cinnamon and a pinch of coconut sugar.

  • Drizzle with peanut butter or dark chocolate.

  • Serve with a side of Greek or plant-based yogurt.

No fuss, no frying—just a quick, fluffy donut-style cake to brighten your day. 🍩✨
