🧾 Ingredients
Makes 6 burgers
Black beans, cooked and drained: 240 g / 8.5 oz
Mushrooms, finely chopped (cremini or button work well): 220 g / 8 oz
Oat flour: 30 ml / 2 tablespoons
Soy sauce (or tamari): 30 ml / 1 fl oz
Paprika: 1 teaspoon
Salt & pepper, to taste
Olive oil, for brushing (optional)
👨🍳 Instructions
Prepare the baseIn the hand blender glass or a food processor, combine the black beans, mushrooms, oat flour, soy sauce, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Blend until combinedPulse until the mixture is well combined but still slightly chunky — you want texture, not purée.
Form your pattiesDivide the mixture into 6 equal parts and form into burger-shaped patties. Place them on parchment paper or a greased baking sheet.
BakePreheat your oven to 200ºC / 390ºF. Once ready, bake the burgers for 30 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even crispness.
Serve and enjoyLet them rest for a minute before serving. Enjoy them on whole grain buns, in lettuce wraps, or on top of a salad bowl.
