Brown Sugar 7 oz

Lemon 3 units

Organic Egg 1 unit

Wheat Flour 6.5 oz

Baking Powder 3 gr

Cow Milk 4 fl oz

Butter 3 oz

Icing Sugar 2 oz


Preparation

To prepare this classic Cafeteria Style Lemon Cake, follow these steps:

  1. Cream butter and sugar:

    • Mix softened butter

    • Add brown sugar

    • Incorporate lemon zest


  2. Add wet ingredients:

    • Blend in vegetable oil

    • Add egg

    • Mix in lemon juice


  3. Incorporate dry ingredients:

    • Sift flour

    • Add baking powder

    • Include pinch of salt


  4. Finalize batter:

    • Fold in milk gradually

    • Mix until just combined


  5. Bake:

    • Pour into greased pan

    • Cook at 325°F (160°C) for 50 minutes


  6. Prepare glaze:

    • Whisk icing sugar

    • Add lemon juice

    • Blend until smooth


Cooling & Finishing

• Cool on rack 1 hour

• Apply glaze evenly
