Ingredients

Sirope de Arce 6 tablespoons

Soy Sauce 10 tablespoons

Sriracha 1/2 teaspoon

Tofu 3.5 oz


Preparation

To prepare this delicious Vegan Bacon, follow these simple steps:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce and sriracha until fully combined.

  2. Slice tofu into thin strips (about ¼-inch thick).

  3. Marinate tofu slices in sauce mixture for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

  4. Heat a thin layer of vegetable oil in frying pan over medium heat.

  5. Cook marinated tofu slices for 3-4 minutes per side until crispy and caramelized.

  6. Let cool slightly before serving - the bacon will crisp up further as it cools.
