Sponge cake with strawberries

Sugar:
Sunflower oil:
Vegan milk:
Wheat flour:
Baking powder:
Strawberries:
Lemon:
Vainilla:

1/4 cup

2.5 cups
3 gr.
1 cup
1 unit
1 teaspoon

Instructions

1. In a bowl put the sugar, oil, lemon zest and vanilla essence, and mix.
2. Add the plant-based milk and flour, and mix again.
3. Add the strawberries (reserve some for garnish) and mix again until everything is completely integrated.
4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking pan, add more strawberries on top for garnish (optional) and bake for 1 hour over low heat.
5. Remove and prick the cake with a fork: if it comes out dry, it's ready (otherwise, bake for a few more minutes).
