Sunflower Seed Spreadable Cheese

Ingredients

Sunflower seeds:
Plant-based milk:
Apple cider vinegar:
Nutritional yeast:
Garlic:
Cornstarch:
Lemon juice:

1 cup
1/2 cup
1 teaspoon
2 tablespoons
1 clove
1 tablespoon
2 tablespoons

Instructions

1. Soak the sunflower seeds in plenty of water for 4 hours.
2. Transfer the seeds to the blender, add the rest of the ingredients. Also add salt and your preferred spices, we recommend oregano.
3. Process very well until you get a homogeneous consistency.
4. Cook the preparation over low heat for 5 minutes. It's important that you stir constantly.
5. Once the mixture thickens, pour it into a container (previously greased) and let it rest at room temperature.
6. Then refrigerate for a couple of hours and unmold.
7. Add more spices on top, if you prefer.
