Sauce for vegan meatballs

Ingredients

Garlic:
Onion:
Red pepper:
Whole wheat flour:
White wine:
Nutritional yeast:

3 cloves
1/2 unit
1/2 unit
1 tablespoon
1/2 cup
2 tablespoons

Instructions

1. Cut garlic into slices and brown it in a skillet with a little oil.
2. Add the bell pepper and onion, both chopped into small pieces, and cook until golden brown.
3. Add seasonings to taste; a tablespoon each of paprika, dried parsley, salt, and pepper are suggested.
4. Cook for a further three minutes after adding the tablespoon of flour and stirring.
5. Add the white wine and 3/4 cup of water at this point.
6. Simmer for eight to ten minutes.
7. Once everything has been combined, add the nutritional yeast to the hand blender.
8. Mix thoroughly until the desired consistency is achieved.
